TOUR GARDEN NAZARÍ VÉLEZ BENAUDALLA GRANADA
In the municipality of Vélez Benaudalla in the province of Granada, we find the Nazarí Garden, also known as the small Generalife.
It is the perfect mixture of a Muslim garden, and a Hispanic garden. It has an exceptional historical value.
History of the Nazarí Garden
It was a farm destined to leisure but also of agricultural exploitation. And it meets the needs for both. This Nasrid garden was designed to contribute to the enjoyment of the senses and to bring spiritual, aesthetic, psychological, botanical and scientific benefits to all who visited it.
This space is defined by the delicate combination of natural elements and constructed spaces, which create a place for the enjoyment of the senses.
The water is the main axis of the garden something characteristic in the cultures of the south of Spain. An irrigation ditch that adapts the land and is divided into different branches that water the garden and serves to feed ponds, fountains, waterfalls, and other aquatic elements that are in the garden.
The sound of water, the aroma of flowers and trees and of course the aesthetics of flowers of different colors and the buildings built make this garden something unique and beautiful to see.
